Small, pretty town at the centre of the wildflower region which has wonderful vivid displays in spring across a wide region. Wildflower Show in August. The town was gazetted in 1894 when a narrow guage railway was constructed from Geraldton. Among the main attractions is the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
