life in the outback town of Nindigully mainly revolves around the hotel but, be warned, local rules
mean if your mobile phone rings you have to shout the bar. The pub was built in 1864 nd is believed
to be one of the longest licensed hotels in Queensland.
The town was the setting for the movie 'The Paperback Hero' and you can have your photo taken under
the 'Boomerang Cafe' sign across from the pub. It was a Cobb & Co staging station until the 1820s.
On the Moonie River there are caravan and camping sites beside the river.
