The Remarkable Cave is located on the southern coastline of Tasman peninsula some 12 km south of Port Arthurpast the turn-off to Palmers Lookout. The cave is a tunnel carved through the sheer rock face by the erosion of the Southern Ocean. A walk way leadsto a viewing platform after a climb down 100 steps or so to reach the paltform. the car park is a popular spot for surfers and there are usually quite a few cars and people milling aboutlooking for the big waves which roll in off the shoreline.
