Moss Vale is reached after passing through Sutton Forest from the west or Mittagong and
Bowral from the east, and is part of the several towns which make up the heart of the Southern
Highlands. The town is the major regional centre for the District. Scenic drives, equestrian centres, bushwalking. Nearby Morton National Park, Fitzroy Falls, historic Berrima and the Joadja World Heritage Area are among the attractions. There are also several wineries to visit. Rural activities are centred on dairy herds, beef studs and sheep properties. The Illawarra Highlands from Moss Vale lead to the Morton National Park and the Fitzroy Falls which plunge 82 metres over sandstone cliffs to the rainforest below. PLACES OF INTEREST: |
