Small town between Boorowa and Gunning and south-west of Goulburn. An interesting hotel, several shops and petrol available. It has a dubious claim to fame in that it is said to have the highest incidence of earthquakes and tremors in Australia. Located in the Monaro district it is in a sheep and cereal producing area with some beef cattle. Nearest accommodation is at Gunning, Goulburn, Canberra or Yass.
