Sydney Wildlife World showcases Australia's unique and bizarre flora and fauna in the heart of Darling Harbour only a short distance from the Sydney CBD.

it is divided into categories covering all types of Australian creatures including insects, birds, reptiles and animals. Marine creatures are found in the nearby Sydney Aquarium also operated by the same group.
It was officially opened in September 2006 on the shores of Darling Harbour and won the Award for the best family-focused tourism at The Australian's 2007 Travel and Tourism Awards.

The Sydney Wildlife World is unusual for a zoo in that it is entirely enclosed and air-conditioned. The AUD$45 million development features a 1km. walkway through 7000 square metres of enclosures featuring some 6000 native animals.
