Holiday and fishing resort on the north-east coast offering beaches, river, lake and
ocean fishing, Wineries, lookouts. and an historic homestead (Bowood 1839), built by
early settler Peter Brewer and available for inspection. The first thing you see as you enter Bridport across the small creek, are the fresh fish dealers on the right hand side of the road , selling fish and chips, fresh lobster and other catches of the day. Try some, you can't beat fresh seafood. This is the holiday capital of the north-east coast, its beaches and waterways lending themselves to all forms of aquatic recreation.
