Historic town on the Warrego Hwy 45km north west of Toowoomba. Visit the Jondaryan Woolshed and sense the atmosphere in the oil-stained timbers, worn by millions of sheep which have passed through. See the glowing forge in the Blacksmith's Shop as the Smithy works his red-hot irons. See sheep being shorn and visit the original old homestead for billy tea and damper. The Woolshed is a living museum of Australian Pioneering life centred around the huge, 56 stand shearing shed, dating back to 1859. The town was surveyed in June 1871 by surveyor G.T. Weale
