Map

The Cathedral Rock National Park features sculptured rock and distinctive granite outcrops interspersed with giant boulders which lend to the name of the park.
The Cathedral Rock track is an easy 3 hour walk through the rock formations from the rest area and takes in most of the park features, or there is another longer Woolpack Rocks walk (medium grade), for those with more time and experience.
Car-based camping is available at Barokee and Native Dog Creek rest areas. Camping fees apply.
Access to the park is 60km west of Dorrigo, or 50km east of Armidale along the Waterfall Way (Unsealed roads).

Follow the Cathedral Rock National Park signs to some 8kms west of Waterfall Way and along Round Mountain Road to the Barokee Rest Area, where the track begins.

Tara Moss has an excellent blog on her own walk through the park and you should read this before going to get some inside information.
